FAQs
What are your fees?
The fee for a 50-minute individual or family session is $250. The full session fee is due at the time of the appointment. Payments can be made via cash, check, credit card, Health Savings Account (HSA) card, and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) card.
Do you accept insurance?
Currently, Olive Street Center is an “out of network” provider. Please contact your insurance prior to scheduling your appointment to figure out if your insurance provides mental health coverage. Please also ask about your out-of-network benefits - deductibles, copays, out-of-pocket maximums, and the number of sessions they will cover per year. The center can provide you with an itemized invoice for you to submit directly to your insurance for partial reimbursement.
How do I get started?
Schedule a free 20-minute consultation with Dr. Yoo. She will reach out to you at the time you select to understand your family’s concerns and answer your questions. If you think Dr. Yoo is a good fit for your needs, schedule your intake appointment (first session).
What happens at the intake appointment?
During the intake appointment, a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment is completed to obtain a better understanding of your family’s presenting concerns, as well as your child’s social, medical, educational, and developmental histories. It may take up to two appointments to complete the intake process. In addition to the parent interview and self-report questionnaires, the clinician, depending on the presenting issue, may collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to obtain additional information about how your child is doing at school. Additionally, either observation of parent-child interaction or a separate child interview will occur, depending on the age of the youth. Using the information gathered at the intake appointment(s), the clinician will discuss treatment goals and recommendations with you in the following session.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
Cancelations and rescheduling must be arranged at least 24 hours in advance. If a session is missed without prior notice, you will be charged for a full session.
